논문 리딩에 앞서 참고문헌을 작성하는 방법을 정립하고자 한다.
공학 분야에서 많이 쓰이는 인용법인 Chicago style의 IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Style을 정리한다.
IEEE Style은 본문 내에서는 대괄호([ ]) 안에 인용한 순서대로 번호를 표기하며, 논문 끝에 번호 순으로 참고문헌 목록을 정리하는 것이 특징이다. IEEE Editorial Style Manual에 포함되지 않은 용례와 관련해서는 The Chicago Manual of Style을 준용한다.
Each reference number should be enclosed in square brackets on the same line as the text, before any punctuation, with a space before the bracket.
